Pathfinder 2e Tools and Rules

Pathfinder 2e Common Combat Action

Types of Actions

Reaction

A reaction is made in response to something or someone else doing an action. You can do a reaction even when it is not your turn. You also only get one reaction per round.

Free Action

A free action is often in response to something else like a reaction or in preperation for another action. Just like reactions, you can use them when it is not your turn. Free actions do not use any of your 3 actions. You also can do multiple free actions in a round but you can only do 1 free action per trigger even if they are different free actions.

Actions

Each character gets 3 actions each turn. These actions can only be used on your turn unless you take the Delay or Ready action.

Common Actions that anyone can do as long as you meet the requirements, if any.
